In forming adults in the Catholic faith, we help foster an initial and ongoing conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help those we form develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active membership in our parish and Church community, calling them to be missionary disciples in Gettysburg and the world.
In past and recent times, many have misunderstood the need and purpose of adult formation. Many believe catechesis to be solely for children and youth, for those who are receiving the sacraments of initiation.
However, the Church has consistently called for the formation of adults in the faith, for accompaniment of all those on the journey of faith, and the formation of missionary disciples. We believe this mission to form adults in the faith is more important than ever.
Alpha Catholic Context
Alpha is a safe place to ask the most basic questions about faith and Christianity. At Alpha, you can expect food, a talk, and small group discussion.

Men’s Ministry
Join other men for fellowship, donuts, coffee, prayer, and formation each Saturday during the academic year at 8:00 am in the Parish Office Chapel and Fireplace Room. Ctontact the Parish Office for more information.
Women of the Word
Women of the Word is a Bible study just for women that meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am in the Parish Office Fireplace Room during the academic year. Please join us!
