Part-Time Music Ministry Position Available

St. Francis Xavier Parish is seeking a part-time music ministry leader. This individual is responsible for working with our wonderful organists, cantors, and choir to plan, coordinate, and execute the music program as it relates to the celebration of parish liturgies. A qualified candidate would have experience with choirs and in Catholic liturgical music at a parish. Musical background is preferred in voice, keyboard, or choral conducting. The main roles of this position are: 1) selecting music for weekend Masses and other liturgies; and 2) assisting with the adult choir and cantor rehearsals. Other minor duties include scheduling the cantors and organists, as well as participating in our parish Liturgy Committee, which meets 5 times a year. The position is estimated to require a maximum of 10 hours per week, but additional hours are possible with organ/keyboard skills. There is a great team already active in our music ministry, but a coordinator is needed at this time to organize and facilitate. For more information, please contact Fr. Part-Time Music Ministry Position Available

St. Francis Xavier Parish is looking for a part-time maintenance person for approximately 20 hours per week. This individual will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining good order of all parish buildings. The position requires varying degrees of physical exertion, to include lifting (at least 50 pounds) and climbing ladders. Responsibilities may fall in the areas of electrical work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, roofing, or HVAC. The position also requires troubleshooting ability and immediate response to problems and emergency situations. Also required are organizational skills, adaptability, flexibility, dependability, the ability to take instructions, and to work without supervision. Trustworthiness and the willingness to maintain confidentiality are essential. This position is temporary and is expected to last through June 2027. For more information, please contact Fr.
