Soup and Scripture with Potluck Menu

This Lent, for four Wednesdays, beginning on Feb. 25, our annual Soup and Scripture will take place at the Xavier Center.  Each evening at 5:30 pm, a simple meal of soup and salad will take place in the Multipurpose Room, followed by the talk at 6 pm.  This year, there are some exciting updates.  First, our two Mount St. Mary's seminarians, Br. Kurt and Henry, will be our guest presenters, speaking on the topics of fasting, prayer, almsgiving, and gratitude.  In addition, our menu this year will be potluck.  That's right.  Each week, we are looking for 6 crockpots of soup, bread, and simple salads to share.  The parish will provide bowls, cups, and plasticware.  All are invited to join in and warm up your soul with fellowship and faith.
